During our visit to Paris we went to the Louvre Museum with our friends. We had warned Isabella that finding a potty might be difficult and that she must go before we left. She did go, but of course she was the first one to shout, "I have to go potty" when we were paying for our tickets into the Louvre. Stig being a good daddy, grabbed her by the hand and went searching for a bathroom. Much to my surprise he returned saying to all of the ladies/girls in our group that we must go see that bathroom! He said, "it is like a spa"! Betty Heiskell and I headed off to check it out and sure enough it was amazing!
As we were leaving the Louvre, we reminded everyone that we were near the most fabulous bathroom and everyone should make a pit stop before going on the Metro. We all headed off to the "spa". It did cost 1 euro to use the "spa", but it was more than worth it.
The attendant was cleaning each toilet stall after each person. She would not allow anyone to go in to a stall until she had the opportunity to go clean it first. I must say I have never seen this before.
There was a larger stall for "families" that had a cute little bench for children to sit while waiting for mommy. There was also a PADDED diaper changing table and a tiny little sink in this stall.
As we washed our hands we finished up with the most incredible hand dryer ever! You put your hands in and it drys them in 10 seconds...no kidding! It was cute to watch Isabella try to get her hands down inside it, she ended up putting her hands in through the side. Just as the attendant cleaned the toilet stalls, she also cleaned off the sink area after each person as well.
We LOVED this spa-like bathroom. The also had toilet decor that you could buy, printed or colored toilet paper.
Bathroom anyone?
Still can't believe this is a bathroom. Going to have to check it out one of these days.
