Spoke To Soon!

While I was feeling calm and at ease on Wednesday of our move thinking that everything was going to be completed that day....I was wrong! The packers left AGAIN before finishing their work. This left the loading crew to finish the packers job and try to load the truck. To make matters worse, one of their guys decided to quit and walked off the job! Needless to say, they did not finish on Wednesday so we had a full day on Thursday.

I won't go into all of the dreadful details, but Thursday was a very stressful day. While loading the truck they discovered that the truck was not big enough. So they decided to load the small trailer that was meant to ship our car with our household belongings. They planned to take everything to their office and reload onto a larger trailer. In order to accomplish all of this they had to have one of their guys drive our car instead of loading it on the truck. I am just praying that all of my things arrive in tact due to the loading and unloading! We finally signed off on all of the moving paperwork at 8:45 pm when the supervisor drove it to our hotel room. Poor guy, he had been working at our house all day and had not even been home to his family yet. None of the issues were his fault, he was just left to deal with it!
